Today what happens on site is written on paper, driven to the office and retyped on Friday, and twice a week a sheet cannot be read. Afterwards it is entered on a phone, with a photo, and lands in the record at once.Illustrative hours, not a measurement.
What the person on site saw — quantities, a delivery, a problem — is written on a sheet and typed in days later, if the sheet survives. Site Capture is a short form on the phone for the four or five things worth recording on site, with a photo where a photo is the evidence. It works without signal and lands against the job it belongs to.

- try the form with the people who would use it, on site, before building anything behind it
